    Hi there,

    Since so much traffic to sites comes from mobile these days, it’s not common for sites to be designed with a full width appearance in mind. This is the case with the theme you are using now, so it’s not easily possible to create a site that stretches the full width of a desktop monitor. In cases like this, getting a wide appearance requires the help of a web designer to do line by line through the block settings or source code (depending on the theme involved) to undo these defaults.

    With this in mind we usually suggest locating a theme that has the wide appearance you are after by default. Do you happen to have any sites that you are drawing inspiration from or trying to emulate that have a similar appearance? It may help to see an example of what you are thinking of and from there we can suggest next steps. Thanks!
