Full width banner affecting the rest of Home Page layout

    Hi guys!

I am very new to wordpress, and have a slight issue with setting the (revolution) slider on my home page to full width without the rest of my home page also going full width with it.

So to summarise I am trying to achieve:

    1.) A full width banner
2.) The rest of the home page underneath to follow a standard layout that has padding on both sides.

I have been at it for days, and would really appreciate any help on this! Thank you in advance

Hi there, I see no content or images when I look at http://robertwtan.wordpress.com/ or at the dashboard for that site and see no other site associated with your username. Are you talking about a different site? If so, can we have a link to that site please?

@robertwtan, it sounds like you might be using a WordPress blog that’s not hosted here at WordPress.com. In that case, you should contact the theme (or plugin) developers directly or post at http://wordpress.org/support/ to ask if a volunteer from the WordPress open source community can help you.

If you are working on a WordPress.com blog, you should reply here with a link to the blog so we can see the problem in action.
