Full width column – can it be made wider?

  Hi all,

  I have the 2011 theme and want the full width column to be wider – is there any way of doing this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,
  Is this the blog in question? http://stevesayskanpai.wordpress.com You may want to link it to your username so it can me instantly located. It’s easy to do. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

  Are you aware that Twenty Eleven is a responsive width theme? Responsive width means the the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

  No change to column width can be done without CSS editing. Have you purchased a custom design upgrade so you can do the required CSS editing?

  Hi,

  Thanks for your reply. I didn’t realise that you needed to purchase an upgrade in order to change the column width.I will look into alternatives.
