Full width for posts in Twenty Twelve
-
Hi.
Here’s the problem. I’m posting a Photo of the Week on my blog that uses the theme Twenty Twelve. http://israel-tourguide.info/2013/07/14/photo-of-week-nahal-peratzim/
The largest photo I can display is 625×415 because of the sidebar. Now a larger photo like 1280×863 looks a lot better. So I had the idea of creating a new Page for the photo because there I can use the template that gives me the full width (no sidebar). It looks good. http://israel-tourguide.info/nahal-peratzim
But since it’s a page, my subscribers are not updated that I “posted” a new Photo of the Week Page.
1) Is it possible to create a post that just redirects to the page? I don’t want to have them have to click on a link.
2) Is it possible to send an email announcing my new page to all my subscribers (like WP does automatically on a new post)?
3) Any chance that post could have a template that uses the full width like pages on a per post basis?
Thanks,
ShmuelThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
