Full width headings and intro paragraph

  The blocks go across page but heading and intro don;t (eg https://sanjpateltest.wordpress.com/about/) any ideas please?

  Hi there,

  The Barnsbury theme you are using on your site now has a narrow content column by default, as you can see in the demo here: https://barnsburydemo.wordpress.com/about/

  It is possible to set some blocks to a wider width, so that they extend beyond the default margins, but not all blocks have this option. In this case the “Media & Text” blocks you are using on your about page are set to the “wide width” option, which allows them to break the margins.

  However, standard paragraph blocks and the title of the page itself cannot easily be extended, they use the default margins and there is not a setting to change this.

  There are two options I can think of here:

  • Change to a theme with wider pages by default: https://wordpress.com/themes/
  • Upgrade to the WordPress.com Premium Plan and use custom CSS code to force the default theme margins to be wider: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
