Functionality of free themes

  I’m a WP beginner and I’m stuck with my free themes and don’t believe they will ever be fully functional. I am trying Classified and Job Board themes. Do I need to pay for a theme for it to be functional?

  Can you explain how you are stuck, or how the free themes that you tried seem less than functional? If you reply, please let us know the address of your website and the names of the themes you have evaluated.

  In general, the difference between the free version of a theme and a paid version of theme, is capability or features, and better support.

  What works for you is going to depend on your specific requirements and support needs.

  For many WordPress sites serving many purposes, free themes are plenty functional. It is not at all like free themes never work for anyone or anything.

  I would encourage you to try a lot of free themes, unless you determine from your requirements that only a paid theme is going to meet your needs.
