functions disable on my server

  hi
  i have disabled a lot of functions on my server ( php.in) for batter security then i find out that i have some problems with the blogs they don’t work right
  these are the function i disabled ( the Qustison is which one of them is needed to enabled )

  apache_child_terminate,backtick,cmd,crack_check,dl,escapeshellarg,escapeshellcmd,exec,fpassthru,hell-exec,leak,Open_Basedir,osix_mkfifo,passthru,pclose,pcntl_exec,pfsockopen,php_ini_scanned_files,phpinfo,popen,posix_kill,posix_mkfifo,posix_setpgid,posix_setuid,proc_close,proc_get_status,proc_nice,proc_open,proc_terminate,psockopen,shell_exe,shell_exec,show_source,symlink,system,virtual,safe_dir,ls,dir

  You’ll probably want to ask in the wordpress.org forums; this forum is just for people whose blogs are hosted on wordpress.com.

  It’s simple. Go have ’em all enabled. And if you hv security problem(s) afterwards, please never hesitate to contact Symantec!

  i solved the problem > it was because of DIR FUNCTION
