  I want to add a fundraising thermometer to my blog. How do I do that?

  You can’t add functionality like that to a WordPress.com site. You’d have to have a self-hosted WordPress (.org) site, and then you could add it as a custom widget or plugin.

  The only way I it could really be done, is add it in pure HTML, but then you won’t be able to style it with CSS — unless you buy a Premium WordPress subscription.
