Funds refund

  I need the wordpress email address.. I nitrates a refund… Already told my bank a refund was made and my account wasn’t charge.. They still insist that according to visa card policy, I have to initiate a mail to the merchant (wordpress) and they should reply to that mail categorically stating that my account wasn’t charge along with the transaction details.

  Hi there,

  Your account was charged, on 26 August. We then issued a refund when you cancelled that upgrade later the same day. You can see receipts for both the original charge and for the refund in your billing history at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

  So we cannot provide you an email categorically stating that your account wasn’t charged, as such a statement would be untrue and fraudulent. You were charged, and you have a receipt to prove it.

  The refund is a completely separate transaction, but as the two transactions are so close together, it’s possible your bank might have just cancelled the original charge on their end, instead of adding a second entry for the refund on your statement.

  Please provide your bank with both the receipts in your billing history, containing transaction IDs from our payments processor so they can look up these transactions in their system. If they also request an ARN number, let us know and we can send you that via email.
