Funnels
-
Hi I am a new member on WordPress and excited to create my first website/blog! I’m not sure if this question will make sense and here I go… Can we remake Funnels using WordPress? 🤔
-
Hi there,
Im not sure what you mean by “funnels” as that word can have a few different meanings as it refers to websites. Can you tell me a bit more about what you are trying to set up?

Hi,
I am trying to create a Lead Funnel in ClickFunnels for my Affiliate Market. It says here that we can use Instage or WordPress to “remake” the funnel instead of paying $100 a month.
It all sounds new to me as I am still learning and setting up my online marketing. -
I’m not sure what resource you are referring to, but it may be pointing you toward the free “open source” version of the WordPress platform. That is the one that allows you to create a free self-hosted WordPress site, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.
WordPress.com uses a slightly different version of that platform to instead create a managed cloud service where we handle all the technical aspects of hosting for you.
However, because of this, we do not have on our free sites the advanced features (to upload plugins or themes) that you have with self-hosted WordPress sites.
It is possible to get that same level of functionality here, but to do so you will need our WordPress.com Business Plan, which will unlock the ability to upload themes and plugins, directly access and edit your site source code, and essentially have the same capabilities as a self-hosted WordPress site, but with our excellent hosting and support.
Learn more about our WordPress.com Business Plan here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
We would not be able to guide you on how to set up funnels, as we are not familiar with how that is done, but you can likely add a plugin to your site to help with this. For example there is a clickfunnels plugin for WordPress that you would be able to use if your site is on the Business Plan.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi jasminelmw,
As staff-totoro said, you will have to upgrade to the business plan on WordPress.com or have a self-hosted domain with WordPress installed to install plugins.
I have past experience with Clickfunnels, and yes you could use their official plugin for WordPress , but that goes against your dilemma of trying to save $97 a month, huh?
WpCrafter.com explains a much cheaper alternative in this video:
Details of all the plugins are discussed, along with how to set them up. Although not free, it is definitely cheaper than $97
Hope this helps!
