Funny or Die embed code not showing once published

  I’m trying to embed videos on my ‘video’ page from Funny or Die and Facebook and the embed codes from those sites aren’t working. In the page editor, I paste the codes in html and then switch to visual and they appear, but when I actually view the page, they are just links. I’ve also tried ‘adding media’ and putting their urls in and that says it doesn’t support the file. I have the free plan for my site.

  You are referring to embedding videos from video sources that are not supported here at wordpress.COM.

  Note to post your own videos requires a videopress upgrade unless they are on youtube or another source site that is supported and the videopress support doc location is https://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ As a workaround, keep in mind that you can also upload your media to another service like youtube videos and insert it into your posts from there.
