Further Assistance Needed Privacy Access To Blog

  I’m sorry. This still doesn’t make sense and I don’t see how this works.
  I’ve added a person who I want to view the blog.
  If I give him my url
  http://vanessacygnebleu.wordpress.com

  It says he needs a user name and password to sign in.
  I’m not giving him mine YET
  if he types in vanessacygnebleu and the password I gave him; that doesn’t work.

  I don’t understand how this works and it isn’t for me.
  Can someone please explain in some detail.

  To be able to view a private blog, the person will have to sign up for a wordpress.COM account (does NOT have to sign up for a blog) and then you add their wordpress.com username at settings > privacy.
