Future Posting
-
I work nights, so I do a lot of future posting on all of my blogs so that I get the most amount of traffic possible to my blogs, but the last few times I’ve done it they haven’t posted. When I go to the all posts page there is a message under the date and time that says it did not post, so I have to go into the post editor and click update for it to go live on my blog, and it gets buried underneath anything that was posted after it was supposed to go live. Any help would be more than appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Scheduled posts don’t actually appear until someone visits the blog after the scheduled time of publication. See here please > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/scheduled-posts-not-working?replies=16#post-612920

Thank you for the information, but I’ve had visitors to my blog after it was supposed to publish and its still not displaying unless I go in and update it. I tried logging out and visiting my blog the last time this happened to see if maybe it was just being logged in, but still nothing. I’m going to contact support then and let them know since that is what it said to do in the other thread. Again, thank you for your help!

Note that there is a widespread issue affecting many bloggers so you must be patient while waiting for Staff to respond to this thread.

Not a problem, I’ve been reading through the forums so I’m aware of the problem. I’m going to go do something non computer related while I wait :)

I don’t see any missed scheduled posts on your blog.
The next time that happens, would you please leave it as is so we can take a look?

There was a post that was supposed to go live at 8:30am my time (Phoenix, Az) that did not go live. On the dashboard page that lists all of my posts under the date of the post that was supposed to go live it says missed schedule in red. I’ve left it unpublished, so if you could please let me know when its okay to publish it, I would really appreciate it, thank you.

I also had someone else visit my blog after the time it was supposed to publish, and he isn’t seeing it either.

I don’t see anything that would have prevented that from publishing, so feel free to manually publish it now.
Did you compose this in the Visual editor tab, HTML editor tab, full screen editor, or the New Post tab on the WordPress.com main page?

I’ve only had this particular blog for a few weeks and every post I’ve scheduled has missed its scheduled time, and I had this problem on my other blog http://dreamsescapemyeyes.wordpress.com on a couple of posts. I’d say the problem started on that blog about a month ago.

okay, I’ll let you know if that works. I have a post I need to publish today so I’ll just set it for a couple of hours from now and let you know what happens.
