    Hello I would like to know how to do ftp to my website. I am creating a swf file for doing quizzes and when trying to upload them have been unable to please advise.

    Hi there,

    We do not allow FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access to any WordPress.com blogs for security reasons.If you come across a WordPress tutorial that mentions accessing the FTP of the site, then that documentation is for self-hosted sites running the open source version of WordPress available at WordPress.org.

    WordPress.com is a hosted service where you can get a free WordPress site with options for paid upgrades, while WordPress.org is the open source software that you can download and install on your own web hosting account.

    You can upgrade to the Business account as we give you the flexibility to extend your site’s capabilities with plugins and themes and there’s no need for FTP access.
