GA4

I don’t know if this is the correct place to ask.. I’ve asked my host and Google forums and can’t get answers. I tried to migrate my site to GA4 and it says ‘success’ but I am still getting notifications and a countdown telling me to migrate. I’ve tried manually (not my forte) and with both MonsterInsights and Google Tag Manager and nothing I do (in my limited knowledge) seems to work and I can’t seem to properly migrate my site to GA4. WordPress is my domain registrar and my site uses Wrdpress.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  • Hi there,

Since your site, grandbendbulletin.ca, is hosted elsewhere, we’re unable to provide support for it.  The Google Analytics documentation or the WordPress.org forums may be able to provide some information on this.  Whatever tool you’re using to integrate with Google Analytics may have a different location to put in a Google Analytics 4 key instead of a Google Analytics 3 key, which Google Analytics can provide for you.

Since we’re not the host, that kind of general information is all I can really provide unfortunately. As your domain registrar we can only answer domain-related questions.

If you’d be interested in migrating your site to WordPress.com so we can take a deeper dive, check out migrate.wordpress.com
