gaining access
-
An employee (who is no longer employed by us) set up a wordpress webpage for us. We need to edit the webpage and do not have access to any of the information. The employee is not communicating with us to gain credentials to access it ourselves. How can we correct this to update our website?

Hi,
can we have the url of the webpage please ?
I do not know how this works so i am flagging you to modlook. Someone from support staff will surely look into this.
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software you need to seek help at these forums:

Let us know which site you’re inquiring about. That employee is under no obligation to comply if they are the ones that registered the site, then they are the owner.
What I suggest is using any information that you have to gain access through the account recovery form: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Thank you for the link. Is there any other contact method for official support other than posting and waiting in this forum?

This is the official support forum for WordPress.com. If your account has a hosting plan upgrade then you would get access to live chat or email support.
