Gaining access to an admin account after losing password

Hello,
I need to gain access to an account which I have been managing as admin for the past few years but have recently lost access. I am not the person who originally set up the account and it is not tied to my email address so I cannot request a new password.
My organization hired a person to setup the account and we no longer have any contact with this individual, despite multiple attempts to contact them.
I can provide proof that I have been editing the site via my IP details (the original creator of the account is based in a different country). I can also give details of the most recent changes made going back over the past few years. For further proof of ownership I can have the CEO of the organization (as listed on the site) contact you to confirm the veracity of this request.
Please help us regain access to our website as changes and updates need to be made. I can give specific details via email correspondence or by any other means.
