  Thanks for your help Liz;

  Yes, it’s still problematic… I’ve tried deleting some of the smaller images in the tiled column style and tried setting the gallery at ‘thumbnail, medium, large and full size’ to no avail. The gallery in question is linked with the text ‘mentioned earlier’; and seems to show 3 columns no matter what I choose. It stays at 2 in the shortcodes though.

  I played with this some more, and I must have missed the tiled columns in my test, as it also doesn’t work in 2 columns. If two columns is a must have, you might try the thumbnail grid with medium sized images. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s similar.

  For what it’s worth, I really like how the images look in the three tiled columns–but what you like is way more important than what I like :)

  Thanks again Liz, and for the compliment! Yes, that worked… with the two columns.

  I do like them to kind of ‘stick together’ though, (sort of a ‘symmetrical’ person..) so, I put back those smaller images and switched back to a tiled mosaic, at least some are in a 2 column layout but for the most part 3 and 4! lol but I also know how to work with them a little better now :)
