Gallery and text

Hi, I’d like to set up a picture gallery. As an overview of the ‘home’ page I’d like to combine text and pictures individually and alternate between them, but then I’d like it to be possible to click on one picture and be able to scroll through it in a ‘gallery’ or ‘Lightbox’ view, and to navigate through the gallery with arrows. The gallery I would like to work only for the pictures, and not for the text to be seen also in a larger ‘Lightbox’ view. So you can only see the text in the ‘overview’, but it’s not part of a gallery.
AI customer support has suggested to use image block to include individual images and text, and use gallery block separately for pictures to be viewed in Lightbox gallery view.
However, I would like all pictures, also the ones in an ‘image block’ to be part of the gallery.
So I suppose I’d need to use only ‘gallery block’, not the ‘image block’, in order for all pictures to be able to be viewed in a lightbox mode, but then my question is again: Is it possible for text to be part of the ‘overview’ in a ‘gallery block’, and then not to be part of the ‘lightbox’ view of the gallery?

Is something like this possible in WordPress?
I’d like to know before I purchase a plan.

Thank you so much for your help,
    All best,
    Antonia
