Gallery carousel not centered in IE 11 but OK in Firefox

  The carousel feature works fine in Firefox but IE shifts the images to the right. I surfed through the support site but did not see any CSS solutions for the problem. I’m running three different PCs and all exhibit the same symptoms. Interestingly, whenever I do any CSS editing, the problem temporarily disappears (i.e. the photos are centered). However, when the browser is refreshed, the problem returns.

  Hi there,

  Just to confirm, this issue is happening only in IE version 11? I took a look at the blog post you shared, and this is what the gallery looked like to me: https://cloudup.com/ckKzEfzAPjj

  When I opened the carousel, this is what I saw: https://cloudup.com/cuBE7nINluM

  That looks ok to me, but if it’s still looking off to you I can investigate further. Can you make a screenshot of what you see on your screen? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.

  Your screenshot looks ok. I have posted my screenshot in the library. As you can see it is shifted to the right. I fired up an old PC with IE 8 on it and it looks ok too. I suppose that IE 11 is the problem since my three other PCs have the updated browser.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for sending your screenshot. Sorry, I thought I was checking the site and taking screenshots in IE 11, too, but I just realized I was using an older version. Woops! I just tried again with IE 11 on Windows 8, and I was able to reproduce the problem you’re seeing.

  I checked with our team, and they are investigating why this is happening. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. :)

  I hope they can resolve the issue or at least give feedback to Microsoft if it is their problem. Please let me know the final disposition of the issue. Thanks.
