Gallery Formatting

  In a Gallery – set to Square Tiles, is it possible to shrink the tiles or have the lower tiles smaller and more than 3 across?

  I am using the 2010 Theme and want to use less space in a post and not have the the captions show until someone views the pictures in the Gallery –

  Or is there a way of suppressing the comments in the Post without using CSS?

  I’d also be interested to know about having square-tile galleries be more than 3 across. I don’t think there is a way to do that now: I’ve tried and failed…
