Add topic to favorites
The gallery images have not opened on my site when I write a new post. What made it go away and how can I restore it?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. What do you mean when you say that the “images have not opened”? Are you talking about this?

No. I am able to see the visual editor mode (it’s not disabled) and I’m able to upload photos from outside locations. What I no longer see on a post I’m writing is the image gallery on the bottom right that refreshes images related to words in my post. I used to just click on one of those images and have them appear in my post. Now, for some reason, those images are not showing up on my page.

You are probably talking about Zemanta then, which has been disabled for the last few days:

Long before Zamanta was available we bloggers were able to use search engines like Google and locate images we could use and also locate relevant article we could backlink to. I assume that all bloggers know how to use search engines but maybe I’m wrong about that.

I have to admit the great benefit of Zemanta is (or was?) the possibility to have access to Creative Commons pictures…something that is not a given with Google Images.

Zemanta is just convenient. I use other sources for images too when the ones offered by Zemanta don’t fit. But I do like the convenience.

Here’s what it says on the Support Doc:

Note: We have disabled Zemanta for a short time while we resolve an issue with their integration.

I’m using the Zemanta extension for Firefox and I’m not experiencing this problem. Zemanta is available as an add-on or extension for all browsers > http://www.zemanta.com/download/#dl_zemanta

anniegirl – I did what time thief recommended. download Zemanta and it now works on my blog. so glad I’ve got it back!
