Gallery Images get resized
-
Today I tried to put some new images on the blog. When I got to the homepage en clicked on a post a made earlier, I saw that the lay-out of the gallery has changed. Visitors from the blog see a kind of a slideshow, where the quality of the pictures has been dropped down very much. The small pics (within the kinda of a slideshow all are blurry, but the big ones aren’t).
When you click on the permalink, right down corner, you can see the blog like it was used to be. Anyone knows how this problem can be resolved?
The gallery may stay but only on the condition that the pics dont get risezed by half (and get half the quality)… Hope somebody can help me with this matter…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

G-day to you,
There was a carousel feature introduced some time ago that we cannot disable. Clicking “Permalink” in the Carousel view takes you to wherever the thumbnail used to (either the full image file or attachment page with comments). Read about it here > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/11/08/new-photo-carousel/ -
Hello Timethief,
Thanks for the reply. Pitty that the carousel doesn’t do what it supposse to do: “view that presents your images as large as your display can contain”. All of the images get scaled down to abouth 540 Pixels despite the fact that they are larger. It’s a good use for the iPhone or iPad but most computerscreens are much larger.
You can indeed still get the full images with the “Permalink” but it’s kind of an indirect/ Long winded way (Sorry dont know the correct English word for ‘omslachtig in Dutch ;)) to get to the same thing like we did have.
Despite the nagging, thanks for the answer.
