Gallery images not linking to related posts

  why do my gallery images not link to the blog post? I have set up a page with a gallery comprising of one photo per post. I wanted readers to be able to click on the gallery image and link through to the relevant blog post. In gallery settings I have selected link to attachment pages – but nothing. Please help!

  @mrsmanhole – Do you have a post where you are using a Gallery, as defined here http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/ ? You may be interested in my current workarounds that I’ve posted on my Gallery demo site. You can find them here:

  One other thing you might consider doing is changing themes. There are a number of them that use a grid layout on the front/home page of the site which will, of course, lead your visitors to the relevant post. No need for a Gallery at all.
