Gallery Images not showing in subscriber emails
-
I use the Blog Gallery format to display my images in my post, My subscribers get the email of my daily post but they do not see the image, they only see the Green Box which is displayed in the Visual section when you are creating the post. I do not want to insert an image because i would have to adjust each of the sizes and the Blog Gallery Format does that for me.
My website is http://www.peterarichardson.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If you don’t insert the images into your post, then they cannot be sent out to your subscribers as they are not part of the post content. However, one of Jetpack’s great features, Photon, automatically resizes your images so they don’t exceed the width supported by your theme.

You should be able to enable Photon in Jetpack and use it to manage your post’s images. Please let me know if you have any problems or questions.
Best!

I will attempt it, but i have one question. How does it effect my ability to pull down my entire site if my images are being served up from another location?

Oops one more question, if i activate it will i have any problem deactivating it?
Thank you.

Hi there,
Photon allows you to use the image features of WordPress.com while allowing your images to live with your site. You will still be able to pull your site, including your images, offline if needed.
You should be able to activate and deactivate any of Jetpack’s features. However, if you deactivate it any images that had been resized automatically using Photon might have problems with their URL resolving. You can experiment with activating it, adding an image, and then deactivating to see how it works.
Best!
