Gallery in sidebar

  I use the Bouquet theme from Automatic and want to use a Gallery in the sidebar with 1 column square tiles but it doesn’t work. It uses always 3 columns and sets a very small size of my sponsor images and the selected setting isn’t stored. How can I fix this?

  Hi there,

  The Gallery Widget supports Tiles, Square Tiles, Circles, and Slideshow as gallery options:

  However, it doesn’t support the Thumbnail Grid style which allows you to use columns.

  What you can do instead though, is create a gallery inside of a post, then copy the shortcode that the gallery creates. Then, paste it into a Text Widget.

  Try pasting this into a Text Widget to see how it looks:
  [gallery columns="1" ids="883,884,1185"]
