gallery is posting on the side column instead of as a regular post

    I am trying to add a carousel gallery to my website – ideally I would have a “Photo Gallery” tab on the top of my page (adding to menu), and then when the viewer clicks on it, they will be directed to several galleries. When I add the short code to the page, however, it posts on the right side widget. I have tried creating a parent page, a post, etc. Nothing is working. this is for http://www.therobinhood.com
