Gallery isn’t loading

Hi guys,
I have a lot of images that I display in the standard gallery mode. It has been working great for years but suddenly it is not loading anymore. You can see that the cursor changes so that it registers that it is possible to click on the images, but when you do – nothing happens. The gallery isn’t showing up.
It is a new problem so it might have occured after I downloaded the latest WP update 5.4 . That could be the source to the problem but I’m unsure.
Anyone have a clue how to fix this? I will be so happy to get help.

Normally a gallery would pop up on this page when the images are clicked on.

I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with chosting.dk.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
