Gallery not available

Hi all,
I want to publish a gallery post with several images, but when I select “add image” there are only three options at the top (upload, image from url, and library) – the gallery option is not available.
Can anybody help?

I’ve searched the Support docs for you and found this helpful article: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
Once you upload the images from your computer and click the “save all changes” button, the Gallery tab will appear in the Image Uploader. You can then customize the settings for your Gallery before inserting it in the post or page.

Yes, I tried saving all changes first and it still didn’t work :( I’ll have a proper look again when I get home from work!

If you have uploaded all the images via the Add Media button of the post editor, you can simply switch to HTML and write this:
[gallery]
This shortcode will produce a gallery of thumbnails arranged in rows of three. Thumbnail size is controlled in Settings > Media. You can also modify the shortcode as shown in the Support doc Jennifer linked to.

Thanks for all your help everyone, I’ve solved my problems and am busy redesigning the site without messing with CSS / HTML. WordPress really is versatile!

the problem with gallery is that, currently i’ve uploaded several images which i would like to use several times throughout my blog.
however, if let’s say i have 5 images in a gallery on an earlier post, i will not be able to reuse these same images on another gallery in a later post.
i was thinking since i’ve uploaded it into the media library, i should be able to re-use these images in another gallery but not able to.
