gallery not displaying

  Hi Valerie,

  This actually occurs with any theme that hides the sidebar by default. Since the sidebar is automatically hidden in Tonal and requires the user to click an icon to enable, the Gallery widget isn’t working correctly. It’s something we’re aware of and actively working to fix. I’ll let you know as soon as a fix is in place!

  Given the look of my present blog dark “background, lots of featured photos…” which theme would you recommend as an improvement from Tonal?

  An other point Jeremy,
  Also the bold font for the left menu is not looking good in my chosen font Ambroise which I really love otherwise.

  Hey Valerie,

  How about something like Sixteen Nine shown here?

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sixteen-nine/

  That offers the darkish background you’re looking for on the sidebars. Would that work?

  Also, regarding the font, let me know if you run into this problem with your new theme. We can always work it out through CSS.

  I just wanted to let you know that the gallery widget should be displaying correctly in the Tonal theme now. Please let me know if you need anything else!
