Gallery not loading in editor
-
I have several pages that use a gallery. About a week ago, the pages stopped loading in the editor. I usually get a series of numbers, which I think are image IDs. I tried clearing the cache, on the advice of the automated assistant but that didn’t do anything. What can I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The appearance of raw image IDs instead of your photos indicates that the WordPress block editor has lost its connection to the media metadata, often caused by a “handshake” error between your database and the Jetpack Image CDN. Since clearing your cache failed, your first step should be to click on the problematic block and select “Attempt Block Recovery” or “Resolve,” which forces the editor to re-fetch the images associated with those specific ID numbers. If the issue persists across multiple pages of bobfraserblog.wordpress.com, go to Settings > Performance and temporarily toggle “Speed up image load times” to OFF; this “resets” the image accelerator and often clears the glitch causing the editor to display IDs rather than thumbnails. Finally, ensure your galleries aren’t excessively large, as blocks containing over 50 images can sometimes time out and collapse into text strings to save memory—breaking these into smaller, separate gallery blocks typically restores the visual preview immediately.

I wasn’t able to use either suggestion. The page doesn’t have any options that I can see, so I don’t know how to find either “Attempt Block Recovery” or “Resolve”. Also, when I look at the options under “Settings”, I don’t see “Performance”.

Thanks, but I don’t see these pages on bobfraserblog.wordpress.com Are you referring to a different site? Kindly provide direct links instead. Thanks.

Sorry, it is a different site. The Landscapes page is here: https://harryfraserblog.wordpress.com/gallery-3/
And the Wonder page is here:

Great, thanks.
So the issue is that these Gallery pages don’t load in the Page Editor itself? Would you be able to share a screenshot of what you do see there? https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/
It would also help us to know whether you are using the full Classic Editor or the Classic Block in the Block Editor on these pages.
