Gallery not show up when published a page.

At first it was fine. But yesterday I tried to add “awesome slideshow” into my “page” and it started acting weird.

Right now I can add any gallery into the page. Only the individual one is visible.
I can see my pictures in the editor but on an actual website nobody can.

I wait a day and tried deleting my cache. Nothing works. I thought it may just crash or sometimes it takes a minute or so… but no this is not right.

    here is the page: https://tuangstudio.com/art-communication-network-ii-interaction/

As you can see only one large pic is there but not my gallery at all.

    HELP! thank you :D

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update: I tried to add 3 individual images. And it causes a problem right after i put the second image into the page.

Now if you click on that link you should see the gallery comes up but no individual images. I actually can’t add that gallery back manually. I used the revision function in WP admin full editor. So basically, whatever happen I can’t solve it but go back in time.

    or it’s a bug?

    Hi tuangstudio,

Right now I can add any gallery into the page. Only the individual one is visible.

I’ve checked Art Communication Network II : Interaction and a tiled mosaic gallery containing multiple images is being displayed there at the moment.

I can see my pictures in the editor but on an actual website nobody can.

This post is currently marked private, which means it is only visible to Editors and Administrators. However it can be marked public and therefore visible to everyone from Post Settings (cog icon) > Status.

Now if you click on that link you should see the gallery comes up but no individual images. I actually can’t add that gallery back manually.

You mentioned a slideshow in the first message and a gallery in the second. Which type of gallery would you like to use for images on this page?

    @gemmacevans

Sorry for the confusing. Let’s me explain again.

What I want in that page:
    1. “Awesome Slideshow” display 3 vertical pictures
    2. Tiled Mosiac display mutiple pictures.

What I did at first attempt:
    1. I copied a post I have already created to a new “page” which has already contained some text, and a tiles mosaic gallery
    2. Add “Awesome Slideshow”
RESULT -> Awesome Slideshow did not show up, Tiled Mosiac display mutiple pictures appeared on the page

What I did at second attempt:
    1. Add wordpress normal “Slideshow”
RESULT -> Awesome Slideshow did not show up, Tiled Mosiac display mutiple pictures appeared on the page

What I did at third attempt:
    1. Add individual pictures of that 3 vertical images I want
    RESULT -> NOTHING showed up,

What I did at forth attempt:
… experiment on many things -> NO PICTURES EVER SHOW UP AGAIN

What I did at fifth attempt:
REVISION to my first version. Things appear like when I do “copy-paste” from a post to a page.

And that is why you now see that tiled mosaic because I clicked revision function.

About the post is set to private. No, it’s not. We are talking about a page and this page is public. Here is the page: https://tuangstudio.com/art-communication-network-ii-interaction/

Thank you so much for your time. I hope this clarify things.
At this point, I’m wondering that it’s actually because this is a “page” creation and the awesome theme does not support its slide into page but only a post.
May be I should contact them?

  • Hi there,

It looks like this is a bug with the theme – if you add one gallery to a page, it doesn’t appear. If you add two galleries to a page, only the second one appears, etc.

We reported this to the theme developers several months ago, but thus far they have not fixed it. I’ve added your case to the bug report, but it seems unlikely that this will be fixed soon – this is an older theme as well so it might not get fixed at all.

A workaround is to add another gallery above your first gallery. Then the two you want should be visible.
