Gallery not showing on edit page
-
Although a gallery displays when I preview and post a blog, it doesn’t show on the edit page. This means if I want to change anything in it I have to delete it, by deleting the ‘space’ it occupies and then recreate it. This started happening about a month ago.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Could you describe in a bit more detail what you’re trying to do? Are you trying to edit an existing gallery?
You should see the gallery (as a box in the Visual editor window, or as a shortcode in the Text editor), but you will not see the actually gallery of images when you are editing a post, outside of the create gallery option.
Could you link me to a post or page where the gallery is not displaying properly on your edit window, so I can take a further look?

Hi Jackie
http://plantheritage.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=7632&action=edit
This is a link to a post already published, which shows a slide show of images at the end on the published version , but not on the edit page. I used to have the box showing which you could click on and delete or edit, but a little while ago, this disappeared. As far as I know I haven’t changed anything on my computer.
Regards
Gillian

Hi there,
When I go to your edit window for that post, this is what I see in the Visual Editor:

You don’t mention what browser and version you are using, but you may need to update your browsers to one of the browsers mentioned here http://browsehappy.com/

Hi g1ll1an,
This is an odd issue I haven’t seen come up before, but it may be symptomatic of a larger issue. Here’s some standard troubleshooting that might help.
As justjennifer mentioned, can you let me know what browser you’re using, and if the problem is replicated in any other browser?
Other things to check:
Make sure you have JavaScript enabled:
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654Specifically for IE 10, you should also check to see if you have compatibility mode turned off.
