gallery not working correct

  my galleries are not building up as usual. they are very slow or not working at all. whats is there a problem. thanks for your help

  Thanks for the link. I believe the slowness you’re seeing is related to how large your images is. It looks like most of your images are 5714 × 4081 pixels.

  Since you’re loading many of those for each slideshow, the browser has to download each of those images in order to display it. Which means, as you scroll down, more and more of these large images are added to the ‘download queue’.

  One thing you could try would be lowering the resolution on your images. The slideshow itself is pretty small, so you could probably cut your image size in half, reducing the file size, and still have a great looking image on your site.

  Another option would be to use one of our other gallery styles. Because of the way the slideshow works, all of the image in the slideshow will have to be loaded before the slideshow starts showing images. If you use one of our other gallery styles, your images will appear as they’re loaded.

  hi, thanks for your help. but it seems to me that this is a new problem. before couple of weeks i dindn`t have that problem with slow loading galleries. is there a change of software inhouse of wordpress that could affect my blogs?

  We deploy changes every day, but as far as I can tell we haven’t done anything to drastically affect the cacheing of images or the way our slideshows load.

  It could be that a few weeks ago was when you hit ‘the tipping point’ for how much data your connection could load quickly.
