Gallery of Featured images from category

  Hello!

  I would like to add a gallery to a full-width page that draws images from Featured image from a specific category. Can this be done? I’ve played around with the gallery shortcode but I probalby need to do something else script or CSS… This must have been asked before but can’t find anything on wordpress.com.

  So what I want is for something like “[gallery cat="strukturer-for-kl" columns="2"]” to work.

  Only Posts can be assigned a category, so unfortunately you can’t use a category to assign Media to appear in a Gallery.

  You can, however, create a Gallery from any image in your Media Library following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/

  Pro Tip: Before you upload your Featured image, add the word “featured” to the image name so you can find it easily and quickly in the Media Library.
