Gallery page shows latest blog post

  Hi,

  I created a gallery on my blog that I am displaying as its own page, however whenever I view my site (as a viewer not admin) it displays my latest blog post, not my gallery. Yet when I edit it as an admin and preview the post it displays the gallery properly. Could this be a bug issue?

  Hi,
  The menu item “The Gallery” actually links to the post titled “A New York City Love Affair.” Meanwhile, the URL of your static page title “The Gallery” is https://anycloveaffair.wordpress.com/the-gallery-1/. There is no link to it in the menu. Let us know if you need any help correcting these errors in the custom menu.

  Sorry, I missed the “already answered” and “duplicate” tags if they were there previously. I saw the “modlook” tag but didn’t read the others.

  @musicdoc1-someone else had previously marked Duplicate and modlook before I added already answered, so easy to have overlooked! Still a good idea to look at the user’s profile first.

  For some reason there are quite a few of these duplicate forum threads being created when someone hits the Submit button. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the forum software or not, but in this case it was instantaneous rather than someone coming back after an hour and not seeing their earlier post on the front page, and so posting again.

  Thanks. You’re right, and I often do.

  You might want to add to the other topic that, as I mentioned above, the static page titled “The Gallery” has the URL https://anycloveaffair.wordpress.com/the-gallery-1/, and there is no link to it. That probably answers your question “What should it [the menu item “The Gallery”] have linked to?”

  How would I update the link so that the Gallery shows up and not future blog posts?

  “The Gallery” should link to a photo gallery with a collection of pictures I’ve decided to display. Is there another way I should be displaying a photo gallery?
