Gallery Photos Pushed to the Right of Carousel view

  It appears that when you click on a photo in the galleries I include in posts, the photos skew to the right of the screen and not centered as they used to be. The carousel opens as it should but the photos appear on the far right of the screen with no border.

  One other thing. I checked older posts that used to display correctly and they are also now askew.

  Hi Tim,

  Hmm, your images are still appearing correctly for me. Could you please try loading them in an alternate browser, such as Firefox or Chrome? That would help us rule out a possible browser-related display issue.

  If they still show incorrectly in that alternate browser, please make a screenshot of what they look like for you. Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

  You can upload it to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at it there.

  Hi Eurello, I opened in Chrome and the photos are appearing in the center as they are supposed to. My usual browser is IE9 and until a couple of days ago this worked fine. My laptop is a widescreen but am assuming this has nothing to do with it? My netbook is also IE9 and that shows the photos correctly…strange.
  Both are up to date with updates. Any ideas?

  Hey Tim – I took a look in IE9, and still centered for me. Are you using any extensions or add-ons with your IE browser? Can you try updating to a more recent version of IE (10 or 11)?

  Hi Eurello, I just rechecked and my version of IE is 11. Do you think that may be the problem…too new a version. When I had IE9 and I’m guessing IE10 everything worked fine.

  Hi Tim – Bingo! I can reproduce in IE11 and there’s an open bug report for this problem. I can’t provide a timeline for a fix, but I will keep you updated on the progress with this.

  Thanks very much and I appreciate the continued correspondence regarding the fix. I scouted around online last night to see if I should just get rid of IE11 from my system but because there were conflicting reports about the advantages and disadvantages of doing this, I decided to leave things be for the moment.

  I am guessing if you guys are working on a fix that would by my best course of action…waiting.

  I have started using Chrome for me but since most of the world is on IE I am looking forward to getting the fix in place. Thanks again for all your help.
