Gallery pics overlap in viewing-mode.
-
In edit mode, the images in the gallery are displayed correctly side by side. In view mode, they overlap chaotically. This has been happening for several days. It must be a software error.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is a gallery site with the mentioned problem. https://sherlockgosig.wordpress.com/2025/08/24/muehlhausen/

It looks like a recent WordPress or theme update caused a layout bug in the gallery block. Try clearing your cache, testing with a default theme, and disabling gallery-related plugins. If it only affects view mode, it’s likely a temporary CSS or rendering issue that should be fixed in the next update.

Hi, I always clear my cache, already use a standard theme, and don’t use any plugins. … Like you, I also think that the problem was caused by a recent WordPress update. Hopefully, the bug will be fixed soon. I wonder: don’t other WordPress users have the same problem? Thank you very much for responding to my post.

I tried a few things and it got worse. However, I fortunately managed to create a gallery for the “Mühlhausen” page that’s not good, but not too bad. Other galleries will still look bad, I guess, but I don’t care.

Hello @mahuus,
I looked at your post https://sherlockgosig.wordpress.com/2025/08/24/muehlhausen/ and couldn’t find the “overlap” you were talking about.
Could you please give me a screenshot of how it looks on your end (the overlap) so that I can verify we are on the same page?
You can also reach us directly at help@wordpress.com if you’d like.
