  Hello, I am trying to find this simple gallery plugin like the one on this site; http://ianweldon.com/

  Hello, that site is a self-hosted site where plugins can be added. Basically, plugins can’t be added to WordPress.com blog/sites for security reasons.

  Here’s a list of built-in plugins at WordPress.com that you can use: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  Currently, this is the available plugin for galleries and carousel slideshows:
