Gallery Post
-
My blog is upperdeckchatter.wordpress.com and I use the Twenty Ten theme. I post my articles using the “GALLERY POST” and I should have a thumbnail image showup on the homepage, but sometimes it doesn’t. If you look at my blog now the first article doesn’t have a thumbnail image nor does it say how many images are in the “gallery” unlike all of my other posts even though it has 4 images.
Please tell me if I am doing something wrong and how to fix it.

Hi Joe,
That’s a creative way of making the layout work like you want! Great job.
Short answer is when inserting the image that you’d like to appear as a thumbnail for that theme, it expects a gallery to be added (instead of a single image). I wasn’t able to determine quite why that particular post didn’t work, while the others did, but replacing the communityshield logo with a gallery of just that image appears to have worked.
If you run into the problem again in the future, here is our support doc on how to insert a gallery. Almost the same as adding an image: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
Please let us know if you have any questions or need anything else!
