Gallery setting not defaulting to 3 columns

  I’m working on a blog post with the image gallery settings set at default-3 columns for thumbnails. Everything was working fine until about half way through my post. When I loaded all my images and previewed the post, the images all lined up to a single column and not to the default setting of 3 columns. I need help-what happened?

  Is anyone from the support looking into this problem? I have yet to receive any response to this post.
