  Hi,

  Im looking for help with my gallery on my homepage.

  I’m looking to change the current image setup to a slideshow, however when i choose the slideshow option in the gallery editor, it defaults to a black background. Is there anyway to make the background invisible or to match the background of my site?

  Also is there any way to edit or changes how the images are presented on the standard slideshow i.e.; instead of flicking through them 1 by 1 with a 3 second pause. Can they be faded out and the next appear? Im just looking for a more asthetic way of my images being presented via the slideshow option.

  Any help would be much appreciated.

  Hi Lynsey-Ann,

  For the gallery, a quick thing you can do is change the default black background to white by following the directions to change media settings here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/media-settings/
