Gallery Type Formatting of Posts
-
Hi there,
I’m trying to make my page more readable when someone looks at the homepage. I’d like to do it like this blog, so you get a couple pictures and a little bit of the text: http://joythebaker.com/The gallery option on the posts doesn’t quite do this – it gives one picture that you can’t choose and a tiny bit of text and is also very small. Do I need to use a different template for my website if I want something like this?
Also, how do I make a list of the recipes under the categories as opposed to when someone clicks on ‘dessert,’ having all my dessert posts come up which makes it somewhat hard to navigate?
Thanks so much!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What you have going at http://whiskinglifeaway.com/ is pretty similar to what’s at http://joythebaker.com/ as far as images and text go.
Can you point out some specifics that you’d like to change?
As for a list of recipes, I’d recommend making a page for Deserts that you just copy and past all of your recipes into.

I like that the whole post of every post doesn’t show on the home page so it’s easy to scroll through and see, for example, her 5 most recent posts since there are only a couple pictures shown with each and some text. Is that something I can’t do with the website template I have? If not, is there one that does do that (that’s free or costs money)?
Thanks!

Oh, that’s something you can easily do by splitting up the post with a More tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
