Gallery Widget Choose Images Button is not working

  I want to add images from my media library to an existing gallery, but the Gallery Widget Choose Images button is not working. Steps followed: Appearance, Customize, tools get loaded… Widgets Right Side Bar, options open up… Gallery, drop down opens up… Choose Images Button does not work.

  Hi there,

  When I click the “Choose Images” button from your Gallery Widget, I’m presented with an Edit Gallery screen that allows me to remove images or add new ones. I’ve uploaded a screenshot to your Media Library titled “Choose Images Test”.

  If you’re still having trouble, can you try another browser? That will help to narrow down the potential issue.

  Good Morning Jeremey,

  Thanks for this message. As a test, I just followed some slightly different steps: Appearance, Widgets, clicked on Gallery from the Right Side Bar list, opened the drop down, pressed the Choose Images button and then the Edit Gallery window opened.

  However, when going via the steps quoted before, the navigation prompt “hand icon” appears over and highlights the Choose Images button, but the Edit Gallery window does not open.

  I’m using Firefox version 29.1 latest update for 2014. Rather than download another browser now, could I ask you kindly to check one more time as the button does work in one instance but not in the other.

  Hi!

  I apologize for misinterpreting your first set of directions. It does appear like the “Choose Images” button is broken from Appearance -> Customize -> Widget Area. I went ahead and reported this to our developers. I’ll let you know as soon as a fix is in place!
