Gallery Widget > Choose Images button not responding

  Hello Happiness Engineers,

  The Choose Images is not responding to my action. I came across support topics and stopped at this one:

  The engineer said they fixed it. Can you please help me resolve this issue with my blog? It is trungnk.wordpress.com

  Please let us know:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/

  Hi there!

  I was able to add images to the Gallery widget without incident. Can you please provide me more details about your setup, such as the device you’re accessing your blog from and browser version. In addition, do you have any browser extensions currently installed?

  As a further step, please clear your browser cache and see if that helps.

  Hi timethief and druesome,
  Thank you for your following up.

  My device is MacBook Pro.
  My web browser FireFox 26.0. I am not installing any extensions in my browser.
  I am using theme Twenty Ten.

  I couldn’t even open image selection window to select image. When i clicked on Choose Images button nothing happened.

  That seems odd. Can you try this out using a different browser such as Chrome or Opera? You may download them from links provided in this page:

  I tried with Chrome and Opera on my computer. Then I have tried with a Dell laptop. The button still hates me…

  Hi there!

  My guess is you are accessing the widget in the Customizer. I recognize the problem there and I’ve reported it to our developers. Once the bug is fixed, you’ll be the first to know. :)

  In the meantime, can you kindly go to Appearance -> Widgets in your admin panel, and use the widget from there?

  Good guess. :) Other instances of the problem with selecting image for the Gallery widget via the Customizer have also been reported. See here:
