gallery widget formatting, slideshow
-
I was fooling around with the gallery widget, and wondered about two things.
1- Can I “adjust away” the black border around the photos in the slideshow format?
2- The button and arrows are quite unseemly looking, they hide 1/3 of the photo! Is there a way to have that not show up?
I pulled it off, but I will put one back up so that if anyone is looking, they can see what I mean. It’ll be at the bottom of the sidebar :)

Can’t help with the CSS, but about #2 – the Staff explanation for the reason navigation buttons have been placed this way is due to accessibility issues.
Here’s the forum thread on that: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/change-in-slideshow-navigationcaption-visibility?replies=14

This should do the trick:
.entry-content .slideshow-window { border-color: transparent; background-color: transparent; } -
The above code assumes the slideshow is within a post or page. If it’s somewhere else instead, please let me know exactly where so I can help you with the correct code.
