Gallery widget will no longer let me enlarge an image

  I’ve been using WordPress for nearly 2 years and so far everything has been pretty smooth sailing. The company we use to host our site, and provide a bit of support on any editing questions, isn’t the quickest at getting back to me. So hoping I can perhaps find some advice here.

  Our company website has various pages with gallery widgets in them to show visitors some more photos of our work. Previously you would hover over an image in the gallery it would ‘grey out’ slightly, you’d click and then the photo would show full screen. Now for some reason you can hover, but when you click to enlarge it nothing happens. If you right click and open in a new window/tab it’ll work, but no longer on the page you’re already viewing.

  I’ve tried all galleries, I’ve tried deleting and re adding a gallery, I’ve tried putting in different images, I’ve tried on different internet browsers on the computer and also my phone but nothings working!

  Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this please as I think I’m starting to lose my mind with it haha
