Gallery widget won't show up.

  I cannot figure out how to get the gallery widget to work on my website. I have photos and the visibility settings setup so I do not see why it wouldn’t work. I appreciate the help!

  Nicholas,
  I took another look at your website today and noticed something which would account for the absence of the gallery widget on your pages. You evidently haven’t published any posts. Therefore, you have no post archives and no category, tag, author archives either. All of these pages would display the widgets in your secondary sidebar, though the widgets will remain hidden from single post and page views, as described in the Ideation and Intent theme support page.

  A second sidebar is available to use, but only if you choose to do so. You can customize its display by adding any number of widgets via Appearance → Widgets. Please note that this sidebar will only display if it has been populated with widgets. It will also be hidden when viewing single posts and pages.

  Also, visibility of the custom images sidebar depends not only upon the presence of images in your media library but upon those images being attached to posts. Therefore you won’t see the content of this sidebar either until you create at least one post with at least one image attached to it. The Ideation and Intent theme support page says,

  A custom Images sidebar has been built into Ideation & Intent. This sidebar will display images from the latest 9 posts that have image attachments. Up to 8 images will be displayed for each post and each image links directly to the post it is attached to.
