Gandi Domain expiring

    I pay wordpress yearly for domain registration but I have received an email from Gandi (who i previously used for my Moonfruit website) telling me my domain (revitalizefitness.co.uk) is due to expire in 2 days, What do I need to do?

    Hi Aimee!

    You’re correct in that your domain is mapped (think: hosted) at WordPress.com. This means that WordPress.com houses all of the information for your site. However, the domain is not registered at WordPress.com.

    Domain registration and hosting (or in our terms, mapping) are two different things. In order for your domain to work correctly, you’ll need to maintain the mapping at WordPress.com and the hosting at Gandi.
