Gap between photo and text

Hello my blog is http://justaddattitude.com, I am new to blogging so apologies if this has been covered before. I used to be able to put a space between my photos and text by pressing the return key. This does not work at the moment either in edit or before I publish, what can I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That hasn’t worked for the last several years as far as I know. You could use the br tag if you want to leave lines in between.

Thanks raincoaster I was able to put in a gap until a few days ago – so don’t know if I am doing something wrong. I am not tech savvy but will find out what the br tag is and use it – thanks again

put this code above and below the text as many times as you like, try one first or another for more space and so on.

the code is for space between text and photo’s

I think you meant to state that a2z4 will have to switch to the HTML editor and insert that code between the images. I just found my bookmark for this. :)
